About​ the Author

Candice Lochmanetz began her love affair with mystical worlds through the skies of Pern, the realms of Westeros, and many lands beyond. After years of losing herself in fantastical plots, she now brings her own version of the fabled beast to life. Having journeyed deep into her characters’ hearts in the first book of The Vendic Chronicles, The Bond, Candice is eager to venture even further in the upcoming sequel, The Birth.

Candice lives in Stony Plain, Alberta, Canada.
